Twenty Pound Meadow allotments (4.5 ha or 11 acres)  have been worked for over a century. Today, members represent many nationalities, meaning there is a vast amount of expertise in traditional growing methods from here in the UK and other cultures. So, if you are unsure where to start – ask your neighbour!

The site has almost 180 plots of varying size. Water troughs for irrigation are currently connected to the mains but we are in the process of converting to use river water (like our sister site – Botley Meadow) as Twenty Pound Meadow is bounded by the Thames to the east and Bulstake Stream to the north.

We have put together a few pointers designed to help you manage your plot which can be found here.
